This position is responsible for providing development and oversight of the strategic roadmap as part of the CSL Executive Management Team and ensuring the delivery of all strategic initiatives. The incumbent will also oversee operational excellence initiatives as described in the strategic plan and lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are rolled out and delivered according to milestones, budget and other relevant factors.
1 Responsible for Strategic Project Portfolio Management. This includes prioritization and selection of projects based upon CSL Plasma’s Operations Strategy, business case, risk of the initiative, resource impact and Business deliverables.
2 Responsible for overseeing the delivery of projects in accordance with the approved scope documents. This includes milestones, quality/compliance standards, budget and operating within CSL policies and procedures.
3 Leads and monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPI), the development and implementation of short, medium and long-term goals and objectives to achieve operational readiness for each project.
4 Provide transparent overview of project status report for Senior Vice President and General Manager in addition to Steering committees detailing the risks, milestone activities and status of each strategic initiative.
5 Responsible for regular exchange of strategic project ideas and maintaining strong relationships with other strategic group in CSL network.
6 Encourage and foster risk-based continuous improvement and operational excellence methods across all strategic projects to drive the improvements in compliance, throughput, efficiency and robust operations.
7 Monitor the overall budget status of strategic projects in conjunction with project directors/managers and other involved stakeholders.
8 Ensure all strategic project team members follow a clear PM & change management methodology.
9 Oversee the Operational Excellence Team, ensuring that projects align with strategic direction.
University level degree in science or business Administration, Masters preferred
Extensive Project Management, Management Information reporting and Account Management experience.
Minimum 10 years of overall relevant work experience in industry, ideally at multi-national organizations; exposure to different functional areas
Proven experience in managing strategic projects, project management/risk and issue management and reporting in a highly regulated environment.
Lean Six Sigma certification/experience preferred
